2019 ELECTION: IBB says Makarfi has restored his hope in Nigeria

Former military President, Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida, Satuirday said that the presidential aspiration of Senator Ahmed Makarfi, the immediate past Caretaker Committee Chairman of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) has restored his hope in Nigeria. Makarfi Speaking at his Hilltop mansion residence in Minna when he received Makarfi’s campaign team, Babangida said he had almost lost hope in Nigeria but for the vision articulated by Makarfi, according to a statement issued by the aspirant’s campaign. “Without fear or favour, you have made my day,” Babangida was quoted as saying in his response to Makarfi’s earlier address which focused on some of the challenges being faced in the country and the ways to resolve them. The Governor of Ekiti, Ayodele Fayose state has reacted after Senate President Bukola Saraki dumped the ruling All Progressives Congress for the Peoples Democratic Party. The Governor took to his Twitter page to react as he urged other APC members to follow the Senate President. He tweeted: “Good to hear that three prominent Nigerians left APC house of tyranny today. P-Square: The Duo Set To Come Back, Peter Okoye Gives one Condition!

Peter Okoye, one of the members of the defunct P-Square, has given one condition for the group to come back together again. However, their fans all over the world feel they were better as a unit but Peter, a.k.a Mr. P, explained that it was the disrespect directed towards himself and his family by other members of his extended family that pushed him to quit the group. Peter said “Psquare can only come back if the respect comes 100 percent.” He told Citizen TV, Kenya, “In life what we call family value is important. “The fans want Psquare but how many times do you want Psquare to come back and break up. “We’ve broken up three times and the same issue is still there.
