This city has the most twins in the world!

In the past, they used to kill twins in Nigeria, but now they have the town with the largest number of them in the whole world! It’s an amusing video!

BBC has named the place “The Land of the Twins”. It seems like they know some secret there for giving birth to them in large numbers. They also call the place “Twin Captial of the World”.
The overall population of the town is 60 thousand people. You can find it some 80 km away from Lagos. The reason why local women conceive so many twins might be in their eating habits. They consume a lot of yams, and one element in it leads to extra fertility and giving birth to twins.

Residents believe twins are the blessing from God. They also ascribe it to the food they eat. Many families have at least one set of twins in them. You can meet them everywhere in Igbo-Ora. Some say that twins are born only to Yoruba people there, but you can meet Fulani and other tribes with many of these amazing kids in their families. Watch the video and enjoy their cuteness.
